Yesterday the world lost a great leader: Representative John Lewis.

The loss sits heavy on my heart. In these times of division, cruelty, and hatred, we need the leadership of John Lewis.

We need the moral courage of John Lewis.

“When you see something that is not right, not fair, not just. Say something. Do something. Get it trouble. Good trouble. Necessary trouble.”

May light perpetual shine upon him.

May the light of his life spark us all to right action.
